In Loving Memory Chína, our beloved turtle

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved turtle, Chína, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:30 PM, at the age of 21 years old.

When she was given to us as a gift, she was only the size of a quarter, so tiny and precious. Over the years, she grew into a beautiful turtle big enough to hold comfortably in two hands. We were blessed to watch her grow and become such a special part of our lives. When she was young, she loved climbing on rocks and swimming, exploring her surroundings with curiosity. As she grew older, one of her favorite things was simply watching tv, sleeping with her head tucked under a rock and keeping us company in her own special way.

For 21 years, she brought love, joy, and countless memories into our lives. She may have been a small turtle, but the place she held in our hearts was enormous. Saying goodbye is never easy, we will cherish every memory, every little moment and every bit of love she gave us. She will be forever remembered, missed and loved.

Rest peacefully, sweet Chína. You were loved for 21 wonderful years, and you will remain in our hearts forever.
